These rooms come to life not on snow-covered trails, but at the heart of urban life.
An assertive ski spirit, which takes into account the demands and pleasures of harsh climates such as the après-ski atmosphere, invites itself in the Parisian daily, insuffusing an alpine touch that is both resistant to extreme conditions and adaptable to all situations.
The collection includes upholstery and reversible jackets, hooded or upholstered parkas, as well as nylon or fleece zip jackets designed for optimal protection: external and inner water-repellent membranes, Aquazip technology, anti-slip weaving, hidden elastics and Recco backup system.
Snowboards and limited edition skis with mirror effect, shock absorbing helmets, light sticks and black mask ski goggles with silver reflections were developed in collaboration with the largest Italian manufacturers of winter sports equipment.
Oversized boots and platform mules from Balenciaga's Dumbo and Alaska lines are lined with warm split calf leather or quilted nylon. The Explorer backpack and the bags of the Rodeo and the City of Balenciaga lines are reinvented in calf leather lined with woolly skin, like aviator jacket, or in suede lined with polar.
