Burberry celebrates the festival season with a campaign featuring Liam Gallagher, Goldie, Chy Cartier, Seungmin, Loyle Carner and many others.
The BURBERRY Festival campaign celebrates British identities, united by a common belief in the power of live music. It echoes Burberry, the essential look of festivals, and reflects the attitudes and dress codes of the 1990s as they are perceived today.
« Imagine this campaign as a collage », explains Daniel Lee, director of creation. « Spontaneous moments capturing fans outside working hours and heads display between two concerts. »
Shot in front of a sound setting, scenes and mud, the films of director Kim Gehrig and portraits of photographer Drew Vickers feature talents from the world of music and modeling, including Liam Gallagher, Goldie, Seungmin, Loyle Carner, Chy Cartier, John Glacier, Cara Delevingne, Alexa Chung, Lennon Gallagher, Molly Moorish-Gallagher and Gene Gallagher.
The new Highland handbags are made of Burberry Check jacquard fabric with a coated finish to withstand the whims of British weather. Foldable capes and hood jackets are available in Burberry Check and in plain colours. Mini-kilts and rubber boots are worn with leather jackets, fleece and a washed satin trench. The Burberry Check, available in traditional and seasonal colours, sublime tank tops, polos and bikinis. Taking back an archive pattern first appeared on Burberry bags in the 1980s, the Chevalier logo is amplified on cotton jersey t-shirts or subtly affixed to jackets and accessories.
Many looks are worn with Marsh rubber boots with Burberry tiles. Also discover the Moor hiking boots, the Leather Potter hooves and Urchin in suede. Not to mention the Terrace and Matrix sneakers in sports mesh. Burberry curved shoulder bags and quilted Horseshoe models are inspired by rainwear.
