Removed and contemplative, CHANEL's 2025/26 Cruise Collection invites you to abandon the time of an Italian getaway, and takes as a theme the life at the hotel. A holiday resort on Lake Como, an island of beauty sheltered from the noise of the world, Villa d'Este is a sumptuous palace popular with personalities, artists and movie stars.
The Studio de création captures the magic, lightness and glamour, and allows us to experience its atmosphere of carelessness, elegance and parties, with short ball dresses in taffetas with flying in pastel colours – peach, pink, but also a blue that recalls the water of the lake, nearby. The range of very solar colours, even in the tailors in tweed, recalls those of the Villa, its ochres, its yellows, its oranges. A dream atmosphere that Sofia Coppola transcribes with the parade teaser.
Guided by the pleasure of dressing, staging, the collection also reveals a more dancing facet. A flexible disco pulsation gains a pants – or evening pajamas – in very light tweed with multicolored sequins. The collection features a gold lurex Damassed Pants tailor or a black set, blouse and flared pants entirely embroidered with glittering glitter. Solar and glamour, a combination of décolletée and bare back with pink and orange stripes in lamé – iconic material at CHANEL – slips under a long cape.
From soft life and beautiful summer evenings, it is also discussed with a short bustier dress in black taffetas that comes highlight a very light little cape. The gallon embroidered with pearls and rhinestones of an ivory blouse with voluminous sleeves illuminates an evening pants in white taffetas. A cinema atmosphere envelopes a long prom dress in taffetas or an ivory tailor. The cinema of Luchino Visconti, great friend of Gabrielle Chanel and used to Lake Como, is not far away...
The superb Villa d的Este also resides, day and night, in the magnificence of its park. Magnolias, glycines, camellias, rhododendrons or laurel-rose gardens inspire the work of lace. Its delicate floral motifs are displayed on a black skirt tailor decorated with a gall of pearls, on a flared dress with stripes of muslin flowers, or on a white tailor composed of short pants and a spencer.
