Japanese actress Nana Komatsu embodies the new campaign of CHANEL's COCO NEIGE 2025/26 collection. Photographer Sean Thomas captures his magnetic grace in an immaculate winter landscape. Each cliché reveals the magical atmosphere of snowy peaks.
Launched in 2018, COCO NEIGE is a separate collection in the world of CHANEL, originally conceived as a technical and sophisticated changing room dedicated to winter sports, which reconciles performance and look, technicality and refinement, city and altitude. « While the collection takes on CHANEL's iconic codes and asserts in all its functionality, it also reveals an unexpected form of freedom. What seduces me is that she escapes stereotypes: she adapts as naturally to the ski slopes as to the city », confides Nana Komatsu.
The photographs offer a range of soft and contrasting tones – icing pink, bright ecru, fir green, deep marine, iridescent black. The silhouettes follow each other as many variations around the Alpine chic: a taffeta-pink jacket and its matching trousers, worn with a woolly skin chapka, make up a soft and enveloping look; a multicolored marine cardigan dialogue with dark technical pants; a green and purple tweed tailor revisits CHANEL's iconic look; an ecru cashmere sweater adorned with a black knot brings a touch of poetry; a short jacket and skirt set in beige mohair plays the map of a warm minimalism, a bicolored doudoune accompanies the descent on the tracks. The series in black and white, very graphic, alternate quilted sweaters and coated trousers; while a festive look suggests fireworks on the cashmere.
The accessories – earsuits, sunglasses, pocket belts, nylon velvet effect bags, pony and gum leather boots, woolly skin boots decorated with velvet knots – add to every fantasy and versatility composition.
