As the holidays approached, the House imagines The Fabulous World of Dior, a spectacular staging magnifying all the windows and floors of the iconic Harrods store. An unprecedented event combining the charm of the English spirit with the luxury and refinement of the French art of living.
A fervent lover of England, Christian Dior began a powerful and unwavering relationship with Harrods, London's epicentre of British elegance, in 1953. This story, which will never cease to grow with exclusive collaborations, today enriches a new chapter, totally unique in its breadth and creative momentum inspired by the magic of Christmas.
From November 10, and until January 3, 2023, the façade of the Brompton Road building is adorned with a monumental installation dressed in light games that radiates the iconic codes of Dior, reinterpreted by the artist Pietro Ruffo for the Dior cruise collection 2023. For example, the rose of the winds, stars and glittering flowers guide visitors through the historical showcases – which attract and captivate the whole world – that are transformed into fantastic, living gingerbread paintings. A journey pushing the limits of the imagination, to the discovery of the different universes and symbols of the House, from fashion to beauty.
At the heart of this prestigious setting, it is a thousand fascinating surprises and lively decors, sublimated with gourmet treats, waiting for guests. Two dream pop-ups – ode to Mr. Dior's attachment to the celebration of Christmas and the art of cherishing loved ones – but also a Café specially designed for the occasion or a true immersive exhibition playing proportions to exalt enchantment promise unforgettable moments of joy and sharing.
