From 20 September to 11 November 2025, the Hotel Plaza Athénée hosts a monumental artistic installation directed by the collective Uchronia, with exceptional partners such as the French publisher of prestigious MISIA fabrics.
« Day Bed », the work imagined by Uchronia, is an oversized dream bed that transforms the hotel's iconic garden into a real place of contemplation and wonder, spreading a soothing atmosphere and conducive to relaxation. The installation takes on aesthetic codes from the prestigious Parisian Palace, in harmony with the timeless elegance of its architecture, and reflects its commitment to the promotion of art in all its forms.
For the scenography of the fabrics, Casamance Group and the collective Uchronia celebrate their third collaboration, after the Hôtel de la Marine de la Paris Design Week 2024, then the Hotel Uchronia Maison & Objet 2025. MISIA and Uchronia renew with « Day Bed » their mutual trust and pleasure in working together the creations, textures and colors in new high fashion universes.
To dress up the majestic curtains of the installation, the In & Outdoor Velvet ECLIPSE was chosen in two emblematic shades: empire green and burnt orange. Its dense velvet and its remarkable intensity give life to a striking decor, instilling a note of grace and sophistication. Flower-shaped cushions, made in the same colours, bring a poetic touch to the whole. The alternation of the colours of ECLIPSE velvet blend subtly, in a set of volumes and textures that prolongs the immersive experience imagined by Uchronia.
This contemplative, luxurious, sensory and unique discovery in an exceptional historical establishment embodies a common vision: to make dialogue of matter and imagination, at the heart of an exceptional environment where every detail celebrates the art of living in French.
