Saint Laurent Productions est fier d’annoncer son 4e long métrage « Father Mother Sister Brother », écrit et réalisé par Jim Jarmusch. Le film sera présenté le 31 août en compétition et en sélection officielle à la Mostra de Venise 2025.
Au casting : Tom Waits, Adam Driver, Mayim Bialik, Charlotte Rampling, Cate Blanchett, Vicky Krieps, Sarah Greene, Indya Moore, Luka Sabbat et Françoise Lebrun.
Father Mother Sister Brother est présenté par Saint Laurent par Anthony Vaccarello, MUBI et The Apartment (une société de Fremantle) en association avec badjetlag de Jarmusch, CG Cinema de Gillibert, Cinema Inutile, Films du Losange et Weltkino. En Irlande, Hail Mary Pictures a coproduit le film et a été financé par Fís Éireann/Screen Ireland. Les prêteurs étaient Cofiloisirs et Three Point Capital.
Saint Laurent Productions fait sa première apparition en compétition officielle, à la Mostra de Venise, après avoir été présent au Festival de Cannes pendant deux années consécutives — en 2023 avec les courts métrages « Strange Way of Life » de Pedro Almodóvar et « Bande-annonce du film qui n’existera jamais » de Jean-Luc Godard, et en 2024 avec trois longs métrages en compétition « Emilia Perez » de Jacques Audiard, Parthenope de Paolo Sorrentino et « The Shrouds » de David Cronenberg.
